Justice InDeed is a community collaborative project that seeks to better understand and repair the harms done by racially restrictive covenants in Washtenaw County. We recently completed a transcription project where more than 1000 volunteers reviewed more than 12,000 Washtenaw Country property records for details about racial covenants.
